BIOGRAPHY
After spending his career as a central midfielder, Matt Murakami transitioned to fullback with Minneapolis City. He is a perfect fit within the Crows’ system, able to use his technical ability and range of passing to push the attack. Not that he isn’t a lockdown defender. Murakami was a key part of the meanest defensive corps in the North Conference in 2021, and he was recognized as NPSL All-Region because of it.
Prior to Minneapolis City, Murakami was an All-Conference midfielder for MIAC powerhouse Gustavus Adolphus.
