Have fun while making a difference.
Wear denim, watch soccer, and benefit advanced gene therapy at M Health Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital.
JOIN US AT THE MINNEAPOLIS CITY vs THUNDER BAY CHILL GAME AT EDOR NELSON FIELD AT AUGSBURG UNIVERSITY
We hope to see you at the game, which kicks off at 7:00pm. A portion of ticket sales and proceeds from a special Gene Party jersey will be donated to help further advanced gene therapy at M Health Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital.
RIGHT HERE IN MINNESOTA, THERE IS AN ORGANIZATION WORKING AT THE CUTTING EDGE OF SCIENCE AND MEDICINE TO SAVE LIVES.
Inspired by Evan Menk and his family’s journey with gene therapy for Spinal Muscular Atrophy, a rare gene disorder, Minneapolis City SC is hosting a ‘Gene Party’ to raise funds to help continue this research at M Health Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital, where Evan was treated. Donate funds directly using the “Donate Now” button or bid on items from our silent auction using the link above. All donations are greatly appreciated!
What to expect.
5PM: PRE-PARTY TAILGATE
Starting at 5:00pm in Lot L (the lot right next to the stadium, accessible from 25th Ave S) and going until kickoff, we’ll have a pre-game party with games, a DJ, silent auction, and more. Don’t worry about dinner, we have food trucks! Pizza Express and La Cocina will be there for the pre-game party and the game.
7PM: KICKOFF VS THUNDER BAY
The game starts at 7:00pm, with playoff and Super Cup qualification on the line for the two competitors. Don’t miss it!
HALFTIME: SNAP THE PHOTO
Help us set the world record with the most people in denim taking a selfie! After we snap the photo, kids are welcome to run around on the pitch until we start the second half.
AFTER PARTY: THE CORNER BAR
Grab a Schell’s and continue the fun at The Corner Bar!
BUY THE OFFICIAL GENE PARTY JERSEY!
PROCEEDS GO TO M HEALTH MASONIC CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL’S ADVANCED GENE THERAPY
It only looks like denim because it’s the official jersey the Mighty Crows will be wearing as they take the field against Thunder Bay Chill on July 12 and playing in denim would be ludicrous, if fashionable.
